The gift of Giving Everyone a Voice
Every year, MacIntyre celebrates the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards, named after one of our founders. These staff awards go to individuals and teams who exemplify the values set out in MacIntyre's DNA.
In 2023, the award for Outstanding Frontline Employee in our Adult Services Division was won by Katie Cresswell, from Shropshire. This is an extract from Katie's nomination:
Katie works as a Support Worker in a supported living service in Shropshire. She not only provides support but gives up a lot of her free time. She started a community lounge in Oswestry which is something people in the area love, as do the people MacIntyre supports because it gives everyone a voice. Katie doesn't hesitate to go above and beyond her role as a support worker.
