The gift of Friends, Family and Neighbourhoods
Every year, MacIntyre celebrates the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards, named after one of our founders. These staff awards go to individuals and teams who exemplify the values set out in MacIntyre's DNA.
In 2023, the award for Fundraising Champions went to Alex Smith and Zofia Fuller from our school at Wingrave. We really value everyone who raises funds for MacIntyre, which allow us to continue our community work. This is about Alex and Zofia's fundraising effort:
Alex and Zofia took part in the 2023 London Marathon. This was a huge challenge which required serious dedication and physical effort both during training and on the day. They raised over £1,600 from 70 different supporters, promoting MacIntyre and what we do along the way, allowing more people to become part of our community.
