A sensory room makeover for No Limits
A member of staff from MacIntyre South Buckinghamshire No Limits has been developing a sensory room and garden at the High Wycombe College campus.
Sophie Harrington, Community Learning Facilitator from MacIntyre No Limits has been getting creative by making sensory items and collecting donations to develop the space where students relax, into a brand new sensory room.
The garden has also been developed, with new additions such as a hanging CD mobile and chimes to capture the student’s imaginations.
Discussing the renovation Sophie Harrington said:
“The area was previously uninviting and uninspiring, but there have already been huge improvements to make it more welcoming for the students to access. Many thanks to all who donated items to make it possible.”
