In July, we joined forces with the wonderful Megan Sim from The Dolphin in Newport Pagnell for a truly unique fundraising event - a three-legged pub crawl!
Alongside people who live locally and members of the Milton Keynes Baseball Club, we teamed up (literally) and waddled our way into six pubs along Newport Pagnell High Street. It was a brilliant mix of laughs, teamwork, and community spirit!
This pub crawl was just one of several fantastic events that Megan has organised to raise money in support of MacIntyre. Other highlights have included:
- A retro football shirt and signed memorabilia sale
- A live music event
- And even homemade dog treats (made by some of the people we support in Milton Keynes!) being sold on the bar
Thanks to Megan’s incredible efforts and the generosity of everyone who got involved, we’re happy to share that £376 has been raised so far! Most of this will go towards our exciting Snowdon Hike in September, while the proceeds from the dog treats will go directly back to the talented bakers who made them.
Megan is planning to host one pub crawl per month throughout 2025, each supporting a different charity in Milton Keynes - with a big celebration planned for December to bring all the charities together.
We’re so grateful to Megan and everyone at The Dolphin for their continued support and community spirit.

Let’s help keep the momentum going - one pub (and one leg!) at a time!
