Following nominations and votes from their staff, Allica Bank have confirmed that they have selected MacIntyre as their first Charity of the Year.
Allica Bank, which was established in 2019 and has its head offices in Milton Keynes and London, has previously supported charities with fundraising and volunteering, but this will be their first Charity of the Year partnership.
Richard Davies, Allica Bank CEO said:
“The whole team at Allica Bank is proud to be partnering with MacIntyre for 2021 as our first ever Charity of the Year. They do amazing work supporting people with a learning disability and or/autism, and I have been especially impressed with the support they have continued to provide throughout the ongoing pandemic.
“It’s a cause that is close to the hearts of many in the Allica Bank team, and I look forward to collaborating with MacIntyre to help even more young children and adults across the UK.”
Lorraine Devereux, Corporate Fundraiser at MacIntyre said:
"We are really excited at the prospect of working with Allica over the coming year. We’ve already (virtually!) met a number of Allica colleagues and they have some amazing ideas about what they will do to raise funds and, at the same time, have fun together as colleagues."
Allica Bank’s first event, a bingo night for staff, has already taken place. The next planned event is ‘Race the Thames’, a virtual team event in March.
