Dale’s big win

13 November 2020
News

Dale Owen, who is supported by our further education programme 'MacIntyre No Limits', has been named 'Upcoming Male Artist' at the Milton Keynes Inspiration Awards 2020.

Dale's family discovered he was able to play music when he was just five years old, a talent that has continued to grow.

In the past few years, Dale has made an impact on his local community by taking part in a rooftop charity concert, organised by his music tutor Christopher Edwards from the Instrument Factory, as well as helping to run a music group for other young people supported by MacIntyre.

Not only this, but Dale has also entertained at care homes for the elderly, played with the Police Symphony Orchestra and has met his musical heroes, Herman's Hermits.

Speaking about his recent win, Dale's family said:

“We are so grateful to everybody who voted for Dale. These are very difficult times and I cannot express how much of a lift this has been for us all.”

Congratulations, Dale!
