Join us for a #DyingMatters Twitter chat hour on Wednesday 4 May, 12-1pm, as the MacIntyre @HealthLD team are joined by Caroline Loxton from Willen Hospice as well as Imogen Pennell and Nadia ElGazar from Marie Curie to discuss supporting people with a learning disability through end of life care and bereavement. They will be addressing the question: What does good end of life care look like for a person with a learning disability?
Throughout Wednesday 4th May, the Dying to Talk team and our guests will also be tweeting @HealthLD to answer the following questions:
- How do we support a person with a learning disability to have choice and control?
- How do we work best with families?
- What resources are available to support conversations about death and dying with a person who has a learning disability?
- How do we support a person with a learning disability who is grieving?
