We have some outstanding employees at MacIntyre and every month one person from each division is chosen to be our Employee of the Month.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of MacIntyre Adult Social Care, Children and Young People, MacIntyre No Limits™, and Specialist Support Services, together with an extract from their nominations.
Bryan McHugh – Adult Social Care, Warrington
I am nominating Bryan for being so kind, caring and supportive to his colleagues and the people he supports. Nothing is too much trouble for Bryan and he is always the first person to step in to offer any help and support. He'll take the 'on call' rota if it has been particularly busy or even just a brew when it's needed.
There are loads of examples I could give but the most recent one is Helen, who we support, was moving house. She does not have much money and everything was done at the lowest cost to support her financially. The house was not in a good state of repair when it was empty and the keys handed over. Bryan worked so hard, decorating, supporting to put shelves and TVs up, anything that required a handyman, Bryan got stuck in. I knew that Bryan was helping but did not realise how much he did until I had a chat with the Manager. She said that she could not have done this without him. Bryan does all of this quietly, he doesn't want recognition and does not see how his support has such a positive impact.
Sree Sivaprasad – MacIntyre School, Buckinghamshire
Sree gives 110% every shift that she is working, especially when she is shift co-ordinator, she ensures all activity plans are followed, young people are being supported in line with their placement plans and most importantly that they are having FUN.
As well as this, she always ensures other duties such as water flushing, temperatures and her link worker update is completed. Sree shows good leadership skills and is able to coach and mentor some of the newer / relief staff members who have been picking up recently. We are very lucky to have Sree.
Catherine Munene - MacIntyre No Limits East Midlands
I have been on long term sick for the last seven months and as a result, my mental health suffered. Catherine (my line manager) has been so supportive, keeping in contact with me at least twice every week (in fact to the point where the highlight of my week was waiting for her phone call).
She has taken a lot of her time out from her busy schedule to support me. She has always had confidence in me and since I returned to work, has discussed a sensible phased return to full duties. I cannot thank her enough and am looking forward to continue to work with this caring person.
Estelle Cinquemani – Specialist Support Services
Estelle provides HR support in our large region, and she is absolutely fantastic. Her confident, warm, professional and friendly approach is so clear to see. Estelle is extremely knowledge and has a way about her which puts people at ease. She gives people a sense of reassurance and when observing and listening to Estelle you know she will follow up what she says with her actions.
I would like Estelle to be recognised for being amazing and being such a credit to MacIntyre.
