This month’s awards highlight four people who’ve shown real dedication, care, and teamwork across very different roles at MacIntyre.
Sarah Lancaster - Adult Social Care
Sarah played a key role in making the recent Snowdon trip such a success. She supported everyone throughout the day. Whether carrying extra bags, encouraging others on the climb, or making sure the group was looked after, she put others first at every step. Colleagues and families alike appreciated her calm leadership and hands-on approach, which helped everyone feel part of something meaningful.
Christine Brown - MacIntyre School (CYP)
Christine has shown steady growth and confidence in her role, especially in using Intensive Interaction to build stronger connections with young people. She’s calm under pressure, thoughtful in her approach, and someone her colleagues know they can depend on. Her work has strengthened relationships with students and set a great example for new staff. Through her consistency and care, she’s become an important part of daily life at Wingrave.
Otilia Stefan - No Limits Oxfordshire
Otilia brings a thoughtful, balanced style to leadership. She listens, supports, and encourages her team, creating an environment where people feel valued and capable. Even in a challenging year, she’s been a steady point of support, offering guidance, practical help, and reassurance when it’s needed most. Her mix of professionalism and empathy has made a real difference to staff well-being and to the positive atmosphere across the provision.
Sophie Sixsmith - Support Services
Sophie is known for being approachable, dependable, and quick to help others. She checks in with colleagues, offers advice, and tackles problems without fuss, whether it’s solving an Excel issue or helping someone settle into a new role. Her willingness to share her knowledge and offer support has made her a go-to person across the admin team and a steady presence that others trust and appreciate.
Each of these colleagues shows what’s possible when care, teamwork, and professionalism come together. Their efforts make a real difference every day, to the people who draw on our support and to the colleagues who work alongside them.
