People we support and our staff in Hampshire have been showing us all the benefits of brushing off our green thumbs during the lockdown by launching a brand new project titled 'Mac Home Grown', which has been noticed by gardening expert and 'Ground Force' star Charlie Dimmock.
The project will encourage people we support across MacIntyre to take part in growing plants at home and share their progress with one another.
With many social activities now on hold due to COVID-19, the teams in Hampshire hope this will help people supported to nurture existing connections and make new ones too.
Since the project's launch earlier in the month, people we support in Hampshire have already been busy planting vegetables, including sweet peas as well as floral plants too.
Their hard work has not gone unnoticed either, as the team were delighted to share a letter from Charlie Dimmock, who starred in BBC's Ground Force, who wished the people we support luck with the project and shared her tips for growing sunflowers and sweet peas.

Debbie, a lady we support in the area was proud to share she had planted a few seeds already, saying "I really enjoyed planting my sunflowers! I hope they grow!"
We’re Hiring!
