On Wednesday 16 May, MacIntyre will be presenting at the Special Education Needs and Disability Conference.
Aiming to provide an insight into how mainstream and special schools can be better equipped to help pupils with complex and varied needs; the SEND conference will provide vital information through seminars and discussions to ensure SEND students have the best education experience possible.
MacIntyre’s seminar will focus on our No Limits™ programme. Established in 2008, MacIntyre’s No Limits is a flexible education solution for young people with complex needs who can’t access a formal, full-time education. The programme acknowledges that education doesn’t have to be restricted to a classroom setting and that learning can be tailored to suit the needs of the pupil. The programme creates a partnership between mainstream and special education institutions to provide inclusive education solutions.
MacIntyre’s Development Director Natalie Macpherson and School Partnership Manager Pam Rozentals will also be joined by Kirsty, a student from No Limits to discuss the positive impact the alternative education provision has had on her life.
Natalie Macpherson said:
“I hope people will understand how things can be done differently and how the unique partnership can have a positive impact on a wide range of people.”
