MacIntyre School Celebrates Staff Excellence

10 August 2016
News

Eight members of staff at MacIntyre School Wingrave have been recognised for demonstrating outstanding practice in the Staff Excellence Awards today held at the school. Each winner was nominated for various reasons, including giving constant support and commitment and always going ‘above and beyond’, but above all, each person has made a real difference to the school.

We are pleased to announce the winners:

Joanna – for her consistently outstanding teaching

Sam – for her constant and consistent support of young people’s complex medical needs

Allyson – for being a supportive line manager and keeping her team informed so they are always able to provide the best support

Natsayi – for her incredible organisational skills, developing excellent working relationships with staff and students and being a very positive role model

Aneta – for being an incredible person for whom no task is too big or too challenging

Sophie – for her ‘can do’ and supportive attitude and the way in which she shares her deep knowledge of the children with other staff members

Trudy – for consistently going ‘over and above’ and all she has done to improve the recruitment policy, procedure and practice and for always being professional and positive

Lorna – for her excellent and tireless work in promoting Health & Safety and compliance across the school and children’s homes

A Staff Excellence Award was also presented to the Class 3 staff for the effort, commitment and hard work that has had such a positive impact upon the learning and wellbeing of their students.

A huge well done to all of the winners and a thank you to all of the staff that nominated!
