Marjorie Newton Wright Awards 2018

26 April 2018
News

Yesterday marked the 9th year of the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards. Launched in 2009 to commemorate our founders Kenneth and Marjorie Newton Wright, the awards provide a fantastic opportunity to recognise, celebrate and commend many exceptional individuals, teams and volunteers across MacIntyre.

Colleagues, people we support and family members were invited to nominate those who made not only a huge impact on those we support, but to the whole organisation by continuously embodying MacIntyre’s values. This resulted in a remarkable 173 nominations; evidence of the outstanding contributions and commitment made this year.

With incredible performances from our No Limits students Lydon Williamson and Rocco O’Callaghan, we were thrilled to be joined by the Newton Wright family, two of our Trustees John Berriman and Duncan Strachan and nearly 300 guests to recognise the inspirational work completed across MacIntyre.
