How does The Big Give Christmas Challenge Work?

  • We already secured £2,000 in pledges from major donors
  • In the Big Give week we are seeking to secure donations from the public, totalling £2,000 to release the pledges, giving a total of £4,000

How will your gift be used?

This year we're raising vital funds for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism who attend MacIntyre’s School in Buckinghamshire to complete their Duke of Edinburgh Award. The students have the opportunity to complete their Bronze Award and progress to the Silver and Gold Awards which offer many development and learning opportunities.

How can you get involved?

MacIntyre’s Family Project was set up in 2019 and is funded entirely by charitable donations

MacIntyre was established by the parents of a disabled child with the vision for all people with a learning disability to live a life that makes sense to them.

Since then working with parents, carers and families has been at the heart of our approach to supporting children, young people and adults with a learning disability and/or autism and ensuring we continue to achieve that vision.

Meeting other families and hearing their fears and struggles makes you realise you are not alone in having these issues and that there are people there to help, even if it’s just to listen.
