In our final celebration of our recent Staff Awards, we recognise the four outstanding individuals who won our Inspiring Leader category for their division.
Here they are, together with brief excerpts from their nominations:
Azar Ullah, Specialist
Az is an excellent manager, highly supportive and fair to everyone. He checks in with everyone regularly and is great to work with. He also does a lot of work with other charities and volunteering in his spare time, which is inspiring.
Carly Morrissey, Adult Social Care North
In my opinion, it is not the job title that defines leadership, but the interpersonal skills, the ability to connect with others. Carly demonstrates competence and leadership in all her actions. She is very modest, yet very knowledgeable. She listens and always tries to find a positive way forward. She is genuine, kind, honest, modest and truly inspiring.
Lucy Watson, Adult Social Care South
Lucy has a remarkable ability to see potential in those around her, nurturing and developing staff to help them grow in confidence and capability. Her leadership has created an environment where people feel valued, encouraged and inspired to be the best version of themselves. Her commitment to the wider community is also evident. She constantly finds ways to build relationships and create inclusive spaces locally.
Luke Vaughan, Children and Young People
We joke that Luke has superpowers - whenever there is a problem he knows about and sorts it, big or small. Luke exemplifies MacIntyre's Leadership DNA. He isn't a manager who sits in his office and is unaware of what's going on. He makes time for everyone - children and staff - and inspires us all.
Congratulations to Az, Carly, Lucy, Luke and all the winners we've celebrated in the last couple of weeks.
At MacIntyre, what we do would be impossible without our gifted staff.
