At MacIntyre’s recent Marjorie Newton Wright Awards a ‘Special Award’ was presented to Health and Safety Manager Elliot Jones for his outstanding work during the pandemic.
Not long after Elliot joined MacIntyre Covid-19 took hold and everything had to change. Elliot immediately stepped up to the plate, dealing with the implications for staff and people we support. Constantly updating help and guidance in writing, driving change via the managers’ Zoom calls as regulations evolved and changed. He was often found giving one-on-one advice to managers regarding specific situations. His steady, professional and knowledgeable presence was admired by all.
