At MacIntyre, new friendships are formed every day. To celebrate National Best Friends Day, we are looking at the bond between Jackie and Sarah, two of the people we support. With a friendship that has lasted for more than 25 years, Jackie and Sara’s relationship is one to be admired.
For many of the people we support, activities are a familiar part of their day. We encourage individuals to engage in existing hobbies, as well as providing opportunities to try new activities through working with others.
Through their interest in sewing and crafts, Jackie and Sara demonstrated how true friends are always there for you.
