This week saw MacIntyre’s Big Hike come to the New Forest in Hampshire for the first time. Running for 5 days from Monday 11 June to Friday 15 June, the hike is a fantastic opportunity for staff and people supported by MacIntyre to work together, make new friends and experience the great outdoors.
Inspired by 2017’s nationwide Big Hike, the New Forest Big Hike is a chance for many people supported by MacIntyre to experience camping for the first time in a secure and inclusive environment.
Throughout the week the group have been engaging in a variety of team building activities including: group walks, deer spotting and inflatable darts.
Making the most of the weather, they have also been enjoying delicious barbeques provided by dedicated catering staff, who have been travelling over 60 miles a day to show their support.
