People supported and the staff team at The Grove in Westoning, Bedfordshire have been volunteering across Luton. We demonstrated our commitment to helping local families and strengthening neighbourhood connections.
A little while back we got in touch with the Luton Foodbank to see if we could help, and they were happy to have us. In November, the group volunteered at a Foodbank fundraising event at the local Asda store. Working side by side, we helped collect donations and speak with shoppers about the Foodbank's work. We were struck by people's generosity, it was such a positive and energising experience.
That spirit of involvement continues! On 10 December, we'll join the Salvation Army in Luton to help with its annual Christmas Toy Appeal. This initiative provides gifts for children who may otherwise miss out during the festive season. We're looking forward to helping make sure more families this festive season.
Together, these activities reflect two of the key pillars of Everyone Everywhere: looking outward and asking how we can help.
