What could you do with £50?

13 November 2018
News

We are really excited to be part of the 2019 Franklins £50 Challenge!

It’s such a simple, but brilliant concept. Franklins Solicitors will provide participating organisation with a £50 start-up investment and then it’s over to you to invest and re-invest the £50 to raise as much as you can over an 8 week period, starting in January 2019.

Last year’s teams made use of Shrove Tuesday and Valentine’s Day through the sales of pancakes and bouquets and the more unusual ‘Curry in a Hurry’ and slime sales, as well as quiz nights, cake sales and raffles. An astonishing total of £48,969.61 was raised.

Claire Kennedy, Head of Marketing and Fundraising said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to be invited by Franklins Solicitors to be part of this brilliant initiative! Every penny raised will directly benefit the people we support to achieve our vision “for all people with a learning disability to live a life that makes sense to them”.
