For many people, working isn’t just about earning money. Employment plays a big part in meeting new people, learning new skills and feeling valued as part of society.
We provide a range of opportunities within MacIntyre, directly employing people with disabilities in a range of roles, from admin based roles at our Central or regional offices, working in our bakery or one of our cafés, helping to run of one of our small enterprises or creating and checking resources and documentation.
Working in the local community
Using person-centred approaches, we work alongside the people we support to learn the skills required for their roles and to find employment opportunities that match interests and abilities. Working with local employment specialists, we provide support with preparing for interviews, transport and travel, from the first day of employment and beyond.
