- People who draw on MacIntyre's support
- Family members of people supported by MacIntyre
Marjorie Newton Wright Awards
The Marjorie Newton Wright Awards recognise, celebrate and reward our colleagues who demonstrate outstanding support, excellence, commitment and achievement. People who truly live and breathe our values and our DNA.
Please do take the time to nominate our fantastic staff and let them know how much you value the job they do.
Who can be nominated
You can nominate any MacIntyre staff member from any team or department. Your nomination should be in one of the following categories. Click on each one for more information and to nominate.
Inspirational Manager/Leader
Operational and Specialist leaders - Frontline Manager equivalent and above, who bring out the best in their teams.
Outstanding Individual Frontline Employee
Support Workers and Seniors, Deputy Managers, Learning Support Assistants, Community Teaching Facilitators etc, who demonstrate dedication and skill.
Specialist Support Employee
Anyone below manager level who does not give direct support to people who draw on our support who makes a significant contribution to MacIntyre.
Outstanding Team
Operational or Central and Specialist Teams who work together to deliver exceptional results.
Newcomer to MacIntyre or Role
Someone who has made a real impact as someone new to MacIntyre or to their role since 1 April 2025.
Learning Advocate
Keeping on learning is part of MacIntyre‘s DNA. This award is for a person or group who have really embraced the value of learning.
Everyone Everywhere
For a person or group who have made a neighbourhood difference, changing how people with learning disabilities are seen and valued.
Working Together
This award recognises individuals or groups who work in genuine partnership with people who draw on MacIntyre’s support, sharing power and decision-making.
Closing day for nominations
- Please submit the nominations no later than Sunday 1 March 2026
- Nominees will be announced in May 2026
- The Award Ceremony will take place on Thursday 25 June 2026
Awarding means rewarding
In recognition of their contribution, winners of each category will be personally recognised and financially rewarded at our Special Award Celebration on 25 June 2026.
