The dictionary says “Co-production happens when the participation of people with lived experience is given equal importance to that of staff of the organisation they’re working with.”
And so, when MacIntyre co-hosted an event in Manchester which showcased our aspiration to be “More Than A Provider”, the equal participation of people with lived experience was our starting point. The event was an example of MacIntyre’s values in action in terms of our approach to co-production - ‘nothing about you without you’.
