Today in our Marjorie Newton Wright Award winners series we would like to introduce you to Donna McHenry, Community Teaching Facilitator at MacIntyre No Limits™ Milton Keynes who was the winner in the 'Outstanding Frontline Employee’ Award for staff supporting children and young people.
Community Teaching Facilitators provide one to one support to young people aged 16-25 with their Further Education (FE) as part of our MacIntyre No Limits™ provision. Working in partnership with a local FE college, each person’s learning programme is tailored to their needs and their ambitions.
A colleague said in their nomination for Donna:
“Ever since I joined MacIntyre Donna has been the most caring, loving and passionate colleague I’ve ever met. She has taught me so much, adapting her teaching styles to all learners. Donna embeds all facilitation skills in her daily sessions to ensure the learners receive the best possible support.”
A family member of a young person supported by Donna said:
“Donna has been amazing with my son, I couldn’t ask for a better, more amazing person to work with him. She has helped him with so much and always keeps me updated with everything he’s doing.”
