We're delighted to share our 'Employees of the Month' for December. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of Adult Services, Children and Young People and Support Services and an extract from their nominations.
Dan Oakman Stevens, Wigan - Adult Services
Dan constantly goes above and beyond his role to support not only the person we support but the staff too. Recent events have been particularly complex, but Dan has taken it in his stride. He attends meetings he doesn’t have to even on his days off, picks up shifts at the drop of a hat in order to ensure sufficient cover and to ensure the person we support has the necessary opportunities. He is really committed to his role and will always go out of his way to help everyone. Thank you Dan!
Geza Barta, Milton Keynes - No Limits
Geza is so consistent and reliable that he often goes under the radar when awards are being given out. However, his day-to-day work are of such a high level that he should really be receiving many nominations. His interactions with learners and staff are both kind and thoughtful and he does not become flustered in demanding or stressful situations. As a result, we can put Geza with any young person and we know that they will feel safe and therefore, able to engage in their education.
Lauren Carr, Hillside, Bedfordshire - Children and Young People
Lauren recently transferred from working at MacIntyre Woodland View to Hillside and is a valued member of staff and a great member of our team. Lauran has work hard at building a relationship with one of our young people who recently moved to Hillside, taking time to get to know her needs. She spends time sitting with her and she talks to her about her things that the young people prefers. Lauran has been such a good support to the young people and the team. Lauran is always such a positive person and is very passionate about supporting all the young people with their individual needs.
Donna White - Support Services
I would like to nominate Donna as she consistently goes above and beyond her role. Donna is unfailing in her support and guidance, her 'can do' attitude and her sheer dedication. I know Donna always goes the extra mile makes sure that everyone has the most up to date information in all aspects. Donna is a great asset to MacIntyre.
