We have some outstanding employees at MacIntyre and every month one person from each division is chosen to be our Employee of the Month.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of MacIntyre Adult Social Care, Children and Young People, MacIntyre No Limits™, and Specialist Support Services, together with an extract from their nominations.
Stevee Buckland – Adult Social Care, Bury
I carried out Stevee’s very first internal audit at one address she manages last month. She was understandably nervous, but her hard work paid off with an impressive 80% – the highest score yet for an initial key risk audit. Since then, she’s been working diligently, and I’m confident she’ll reach 100% when we meet again soon to sign off the final actions. She’s already applied the lessons from that audit to another address, where her first audit scored 94% overall, with medication at 96% and finance at 100%, leaving just four actions outstanding. Her proactive approach is refreshing, and both services are on track to be outstanding.
Jason Davies – CYP, Wingrave
Jason is our School Cook. He goes above and beyond every day for students and staff, always meeting needs with warmth and creativity. He makes multiple meals daily for different dietary needs, offers food to staff, and even surprised a colleague with a huge gluten-free cheesecake topped with her favourites. He spreads joy through cupcakes, ‘pick-me-up’ bags, and thoughtful handwritten notes, quietly boosting morale. Jason’s honesty about his mental health in a recent Humans of MacIntyre story has encouraged others to seek support. From organising staff quizzes to daily acts of kindness, he’s a valued, generous presence who truly deserves recognition.
Katie Jarman & Eilidh Wilkinson – No Limits, Oxfordshire
Katie and Eilidh are Community Learning Facilitators at MAP College in Abingdon. They were nominated by Dennis, a learner educated at No Limits. He said:
I think Katie and Eilidh do their job good and they was very kind to me so they should get a "good job”.
Nicola Chappell – Specialist Support Services
Nicola’s positive energy is matched by her knack for capturing the best moments from our wellbeing events. Her videos of football, sports day, and other activities have brought smiles, connection, and pride to the team. It’s not just the clips – it’s the care she puts into them, showing how she uses her skills to make a difference beyond her role. Nicola’s involvement and uplifting presence make her a real asset.
