We're delighted to share the winners of our March Employee of the Month award. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate. Below are the names of the winners and an extract from their nomination form.
Congratulations to this month's winners!
Jade Parker, Worcestershire – Adult Services
"Jade has been fantastic in supporting Jess and giving her the confidence to lead Zoom sessions. To watch her get so much out of working with Jade and the enthusiasm Jess has for wanting to do more and help others has been magic. It also gives Jess a sense of purpose. Jade has also been in touch regularly, not just with Jess, but myself too. I know Jade has been doing so much in the community during this difficult time and hopefully, once we can get out and about, I know Jess cannot wait to do more with Jade. Thank you Jade from us both."
- Jess and Jo
Lauren Clarke, Leicestershire - MacIntyre No Limits
"Lauren is the constant professional and she continuously puts the students first above everything else. She very rarely has admin days or days off and is very often found filling in for other staff and other departments. A great role model for new staff and old."
Sharon Munt, Wingrave - MacIntyre School
"I would like to nominate Sharon for her dedication to transitioning a 'new' young person into our school. Tim* is a complex young man with a lot of difficulties and he finds it very difficult to build trusting and positive relationships. Sharon has worked very hard with Tim, finding different ways to support and encourage him. She has remained calm through quite difficult challenges, she has shown great empathy and used humour as and when appropriate. Sharon has also encouraged other staff when they have been supporting Tim by being a very positive role model. Sharon has shown dedication and commitment during very difficult times and always with a positive and calming attitude. Thank you."
- Kate Webb

Nicola Payne, Family Engagement Consultant – Support Services
"At very short notice we took on a service from another provider. Nicky’s approach with the families has been supportive and clear, her support to us locally has been just fantastic. Nicky has done so much more than tell us what we need to do, she has done it in collaboration with everyone. She has done this quickly and professionally alongside her ever-friendly and compassionate approach.
I can't praise Nicky enough for the work she has done and is doing with us. It has enabled us to begin relationships with confidence, clear direction and with equal respect between all concerned. Thank you Nicky!"
Each winner will receive a certificate and a payment via My Rewards.
The MacInStars Awards are already open for nominations for April – just go to https://www.macintyrecharity.org/macinstars-employee-of-the-month/ and tell us about a member of staff who deserves recognition.
