Enjoying the Prom

6 August 2024
News

MacIntyre No Limits™ in Flackwell Heath held their Prom in July to celebrate the achievements of the students over the course of the academic year and to also say goodbye to the students who are leaving us.

Rolling out the red carpet

The Prom was a huge success with learners, their families and staff attending. It was a red carpet event held at the Wycombe Arts Centre. Everyone dressed up for commemorative photos, danced, ate delicious food and ice cream as we celebrated the young people graduating and continuing along their path into adult life. We even had some impromptu Karaoke with some of the students showing off their singing skills!

Continuing the journey

Saying goodbye is always a bitter-sweet moment for staff who have supported students to learn and grow. But we are all so proud of the achievements of these young people, and we know they are ready for the next step in their lives.

Thanks to:

For making the event such a success we’re extending heartfelt thanks to:

  • Hellfire Motor Vehicle Club: for bringing two cars for the students to sit in and have photographs
  • Jason from Mr Whippy ice cream: for coming to the event free of charge to provide ice cream
  • Warren from The Sound Temple: for DJing for a very reasonable price
  • Wycombe Arts Centre: for providing such a great venue
  • Rebecca Mash (MacIntyre staff member): for home baking over 40 cupcakes for the students to take home
  • Wrights Meadow Centre: for letting us borrow their red carpet
