We're delighted to share the winners of our February Employee of the Month award. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate. Below are the names of the winners and an extract from their nomination form.
Congratulations to this month's winners!
Elaine Campling, Quality Team - Support Services
"Elaine started hosting the Bingo Night for people we support via Zoom during the first lockdown. Elaine has continued to host this event every Wednesday since. This is done in her own time and Elaine was fairly new to the care sector when the event started and did not have a lot of experience in supporting people directly. She always has a smile and makes everybody welcome, takes time to explain what happens during the games when people play for the first time."
Rebecca Vaughan, No Limits Buckinghamshire - No Limits
"Rebecca is very sincere worker, she is always engaged with her learners, and puts in a 100% effort each day. Her special needs tool kit is special, her generous nature with helping other staff and students is exemplary. An absolute joy to work with, she teaches some of the most complex students critical life skills."
"Becky is so dedicated to the students that she works with. She spends hours planning her work especially for a student who is blind, as Zoom is not the best place for him to be able to do all his learning. She will take her time to think about ways that will help him.
William Goddard, MacIntyre School and Children's Homes
"Will is great with all of the young people we support. He persevered by working with a young person who didn’t accept him initially, but now they have a great relationship. The young person always waits for Will to come in to help him and support him through the day. Will helps to get all of their school work ready for the day and is always around if people need help. I think Will really deserves Employee of the Month."
Victoria Teague, Worcestershire - Adult Services
"The reason that I am nominating Viki is because she has experienced the most difficult couple of months and has managed to keep smiling. Vicki has managed to keep on top of the day to day running of the service and has remained professional throughout. She has demonstrated a level of resilience that I don't think even she knew she had."
Each winner will receive a certificate and a payment via My Rewards.
