Following an Inspection from the Care Quality Commission, we are delighted to share that our support in Greater Manchester has been officially rated 'Good'.
At MacIntyre, we aim to build strong and trusting relationships with the people we support, so we can get to know each person. This way, we can be confident we are providing support that is truly person-centred. This is something the inspector made note of in Greater Manchester:
"During our inspection, we observed the registered managers and staff all knew people really well. Interactions were respectful, patient and responsive to the person's wishes. Staff spoke about people with fondness, compassion and a genuine pride in the achievements people had made."
Speaking about the support their relative receives, family members shared:
"Staff go out of their way, they will do anything. They are a nice bunch of people. I couldn't have asked for better. It's the best thing that could have happened. "
Another added:
"They listen to families. They are very close to us and support us."
Cherie Jenkins, Area Manager for Bury, Wigan and Manchester said:
"The report captures all the amazing things that the team do in providing great quality support and outcomes for the people we support and their families. Well done to you all and thank you so much for your continued hard work commitment.”
