The teams in Wrexham recently celebrated ten years of working in the town. This short film shows the 10 year celebrations at one of the houses, Ponciau.
Nikki, Service Manager said
“When we first opened in Wrexham we supported five people; we’ve grown over the years and now support a number of people across the town. Over the years people have growth, the environment has done so much for people living on their own. We got to know what people wanted and how they communicated and they got to know and understand us too."
Gemma, who lives at the Ponciau house said:
“I live with four men; I like it now, I was a bit scared and I didn’t like it at all. My mum said I’m doing really, really well and I think I’m doing really well”
Wray and Jan, Kane’s parents said:
“We had reservations about Kane moving here as we thought he might be isolated living in his own home, but it’s the best thing that could have happened – he loves it here… He’s made amazing milestones since he’s been here.”
