Today we're sharing details of the three winning teams at our recent staff awards ceremony, the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards, named after one of our founders.
Outstanding Teams
Our Outstanding Team awards are divided into three, reflecting our different divisions.
Children and Young People
No Limits Bedford
An extract from one of their nominations:
Bedford No Limits have come such a long way this year, the whole team have been keen to develop the college, creating new activities, working together to create a cooking club, a garden club and a Lego club to support learners to live gloriously ordinary lives together.
The staff are passionate about supporting students and helping them find new ways to enjoy life. We have seen some of the less confident learners take part in activities they used to avoid, some who preferred to be alone are now spending time with others. It has been wonderful to watch.
Adult Social Care
Masefield Crescent, Oxfordshire
An extract from one of their nominations:
The team take a proactive approach working with the Health Team to support one of the young men.
They've worked hard to get back to normal life after Covid. It took some time, but the young men are now back out and about enjoying trips to town, swimming, eating out, bowling and train rides.
They are now also involved in the local community including taking chocolates to the Police and Fire Stations to say thank you.

The team’s exceptional dedication, unwavering commitment and innovative approach has not only meant that we all get paid, errors were reduced to fewer than 1% in 2024.
They work effectively with other departments, recognising our shared common purpose, part of which is improving the employee experience, keeping staff at the heart of what we do.
