Pete’s journey with MacIntyre began once he retired.
Looking for a valuable use of his free time, he began volunteering for Woodland Road in Cheshire.
As Pete’s wife works at Woodland Road, he had already attended fundraising events, provided donations and developed relationships with the people there so Pete knew this was the right project for him.
He began to generously donate his time developing the gardens at Woodland Road, developing ideas to ensure space was as inclusive as possible. Since then, come rain or shine, Pete has transformed the garden much to the delight of families and visitors.
