People with a learning disability and Autistic people often face barriers when it comes to personal relationships and sexuality.
Supported Loving
MacIntyre is completely committed to ensuring that we support people to be able to form, develop and maintain all types of relationships. As part of this, some people have been working as part of the Supported Loving Network, which is doing great work around these issues.
Working group
At MacIntyre, we have set up a working group to review our current policy and guidance and to identify what support needs to be available for both people who draw on our services and for our staff.
We hope that this work will enable many more people to form the relationships they want
