We're happy to share our 'Employees of the Month' for April. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of Adult Services, Children and Young People and Support Services and an extract from their nominations.
Robin Barnes- Ampthill LLL
Robin has been a hero to myself and the gentlemen living at The Grove. Since I have been working in Bedfordshire nothing has been 'too much trouble'. He has patiently guided me through any question I have had (and there have been lots!). Robin will always be on hand with his tool kit to support the gentlemen with hanging pictures, arranging a new TV, putting new coat hooks up....the list is endless! Robin has been a huge support with recruitment - interviewing candidates when I have been unable. I would like to thank Robin from the gentlemen living at The Grove and their staff for all of the help and support he has shown us, we are all so thankful!
Adam Jones- No Limits Bucks
Adam is a seconded PCO for Bucks No Limits North. He is a valuable member of the team because he is confident, friendly, and always thinks outside the box. He has such a positive, friendly demeanour, and he handles the stress of the office and everything it throws at him with a smile and a can-do attitude, along with generous amounts of cake and tea!!
Amy Squires- CYP Wingrave
For her commitment and engagement with young people and supporting the activities within Oak house.
Anita Taylor- Practice Development Facilitator, Central Office
Anita has taken on a lot of extra responsibilities since Gwenne McFadzean left us and this has meant extra has been added to her workload. However, Anita has taken this on and embraced the extra challenge. After working with Gwenne for so long it must have been hard for Anita (Gwenne's shoes are very big to fill!). Anita continues to put everything into her work; she is always upbeat and willing to go the extra mile to assist others. Anita places the best interests of the people we support across MacIntyre at the forefront of everything she does. She works extremely hard and it would be lovely if this could be recognised - MacIntyre are very lucky to have Anita as part of the team, she is a great asset. Thank you.
