Below are the names of the winners in the categories of MacIntyre Adult Services, Children and Young People, No Limits, and Support Services, together with an extract from their nominations.
Louise Moore, Adult Services - Oxfordshire
We are writing to sincerely express our appreciation and gratitude for Louise Moore's exceptional competence and dedication in supporting our son.
Louise has managed to achieve remarkable results over a fairly short period of time and we are thoroughly impressed by her ability to engage and indeed bond with him. Her contribution to the house team is second to none. Her work has already left a significant impact and has taken our son’s well-being to a new level. Louise has proved to be a key team player whose passion and enthusiasm are, in a word, extraordinary.
Zandra Mok, Children and Young People - Wingrave
Zandra is our wonderful new speech and language therapist at MacIntyre School. She has immediately made a positive impact on the team. Zandra is approachable and always on hand to answer questions or queries. She always finds time to visit class and students and is pro-active in her approach. Zandra has already built great relationships with a number of young people and has implemented great strategies which she has shared with the whole team. Zandra has also delivered training to several teams of staff!
Louise Mitchelmore, MacIntyre No Limits
Lou will soon end her job in Bedford to go to work in No Limits Midlands, Lou has been a star in her role at Cotton End and has worked so hard helping set up the new provision, working some very long days and even opening and closing the site during the winter months. There have been some very challenging situations and she has worked through them and really supported the new team. Thank you.
Julie Burns, Support Services - Shropshire
I started as a Frontline Manager in January. Julie is an Administrator at the Shrewsbury office. She has been so helpful since I started. Nothing is ever too much trouble and if Julie doesn't know the answer to a question then she finds out and lets me know. The admin team all work really hard and I think sometimes get forgotten. Their roles are crucial to us new guys and ongoing through our time within MacIntyre. This lady really deserves some credit as she always goes above and beyond. Thanks Julie.
