We have some outstanding employees at MacIntyre and every month one person from each division is chosen to be our Employee of the Month.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of MacIntyre Adult Social Care, Children and Young People, MacIntyre No Limits™, and Specialist Support Services, together with an extract from their nominations.
Emmanuel Dadzie – Adult Social Care, Hertfordshire
I would like to nominate Emmanuel for his work with Kurtis, who we support at Crosby Close. Kurtis had lived in other care services, under other providers, and all the placements had broken down. His was back living with his Mum and Dad, when we carried out the first assessment, and they were really struggling. He is just over a year at Crosby Close. The relationship that Emmanuel has built up with Kurtis is amazing. Emmanuel, works hard to support Kurtis out and about, so he living his best life. Kurtis's family has very much noted this. The family have planned a day to take Kurtis out, and the family have asked especially for Emmanuel to come with them, to help support Kurtis. This is a real compliment to Emmanuel, for the trust he has built with Kurtis and his family. This why I feel he needs to be recognised as Employee of the month.
Rebecca Highnett – MacIntyre School, Buckinghamshire
Has shown outstanding dedication to the students and team. Always willing to go above & beyond for the young people she supports, (this includes rescuing individuals from deep cold and dangerous water!). A credit to Pigeon Class and a credit to the school
Becca has been acting Senior for Pigeon class, and has done an amazing job of it. She is always there to offer help to both students and staff when support is needed and always throws herself into things, even when that means following a young person into a lake!
Katrina Palmer - MacIntyre No Limits Oxfordshire
Katrina works really hard to ensure she delivers the best sessions for her students. She has grown in confidence over the year and this is reflected in the sessions she is offering.
She is linking these sessions she is offering to college AQAs so students are receiving recognition for their achievements, too. This week Katrina delivered an amazing baking session with a student and it was evident through their vocalization and facial expressions how much they enjoyed it.
Mihaela Pop – Specialist Support Services
Mihaela is just great! She's always willing to help, goes the extra mile, and never makes a fuss. People trust her to get things done, and she always has a smile on her face. She’s easy to work with, full of energy, and that’s exactly why she should be Employee of the Month!
