We're happy to share our 'Employees of the Month' for December. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of Adult Services, Children and Young People and Support Services and an extract from their nominations.
Dawn Blewitt-Preston, MacIntyre No Limits
Dawn is the PBS coach for MacIntyre No Limits in the East Midlands and has taken a proactive role in ensuring that all students’ documentation is updated and reviewed by all members of the team. Dawn was responsible for attending a number of focus meetings over a two to three week period in arguably the busiest term of the year to pull everyone together and lead by example. Well done Dawn.
Christopher Taylor, Adult Services
Chris has gone above and beyond for his role over the past few months.
Chris supports Dave* a few hours a week. Dave has always wanted to go on a cruise; Chris and his wife, who have been on many cruises, said that they would take him if he could save up the money to go. Chris helped Dave with this and with buying new clothes. He had amazing time and went to some great places.
Soon after returning from his holiday, it was found that there was damp in Dave’s house and the floor needed to be replaced; Dave was subsequently admitted to hospital and had to go in to respite while the floor was replaced. Chris was his rock, visiting every day in his own time and going for short walks with Dave to build up his strength. Dave can’t thank Chris enough for all he has done for him and all his hard work to get his house ready. We hope to see Dave back in his own house very soon.

Levi Beeston, Children and Young People
Having recently joined Sparrow Class, Levi has been incredible asset to the team. Levi has great knowledge of the young people in this class and shares best practices with other staff to make sure that the young people are happy and well cared for. Seeing Levi’s interactions with the students and it is clear to see that they enjoy her company and respond positively to her. Levi has been a massive support and we appreciate her hard work and dedication.
Anthony Sexton - Support Services
Tony is always on hand to fix things when needed and uses his skills and imagination to make things safer for our YP, Tony has also come back to work on numerous occasions due to help fix things and make them safer till we can get contractors out, recently Tony came back 1 evening to fix the internet as the YP rely on this and causes extreme upset when it doesn't work. Thank You Tony!
