We're happy to share our 'Employees of the Month' for May. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of MacIntyre Adult Services, Children and Young People, No Limits, and Support Services, together with an extract from their nominations.
Lynda Donovan - Adult Services - Milton Keynes
Over the last 12 months Lynda has really started to flourish. During the core team meetings she contributes valuable information that helps support with any necessary changes and she will lead when working with agency staff. The Waking Night staff have complimented Lynda, saying that a good handover is given. More recently she has taken the lead with supporting the Groovy Gecko nightclub experience for the people we support and because she completely immerses herself into it, you see people love it even more. She is supporting one particular gentleman with his personal goals. I am really proud of how far she has come and I am excited to see how she continues over the next year. Thank you Lynda.
Ana Ruis-Alba and Zahra Fowlie - Children and Young People - Wingrave
Ana and Zahra helped provide the amazing opportunity for a young person to go on holiday. While some people may be nervous to take a young person on a big trip involving airports and new places, they embraced the opportunity and provided an amazing experience that will be remembered for a long time. I am so impressed by their dedication and enthusiasm and the trip sounded amazing. Well done to both of you.
Hayley Beaurain - No Limits - Bedfordshire
Hayley has been a huge support to her manager and has really improved the quality and staff wellbeing at the site. Nothing is too much trouble for Hayley. She always goes above and beyond.
Alice Wooding - Support Services - Wingrave
Alice is relatively new to MacIntyre but has settled in and embraced her role with positivity and enthusiasm. She often works on the front reception desk and always gives a very warm welcome to everybody who comes through our front door. No visitor would every realise Alice is quite new; she shows impressive knowledge of MacIntyre and has embraced learning new administration systems. She has taken on extra responsibilities with a cheerful attitude. Alice has taken the time to get to know the people we support and when they go to reception to collect/return their class register, she uses a lovely person-centred approach for each young person. This evidences her commitment has a very positive impact on young people’s school day. Alice has also taken the time to get to know staff teams and again tailors her support to them appropriately, which contributes to positive staff morale. Thank you Alice
