Our approach to vaccination for people who want to work with us

1 November 2022
News

MacIntyre has in the past few weeks updated its policy on workforce vaccination. Vaccination is no longer a requirement of employment because there is a high percentage of vaccinated people in the population and cases overall are reducing. This was a decision made after seeking the views of people who draw on our support, their families, the workforce and after considering the current guidance.

We will still encourage everyone connected to MacIntyre to take up both the Covid and flu vaccines as we believe that they remain one of the most important tools to prevent infection and serious illness. We will also continue to risk assess any specific situation where vaccination will be needed and review this policy regularly.

It is important that we achieve the right balance of keeping each other safe and not over restricting people who draw on our support or the workforce.

If you are interested in working at MacIntyre, we can offer you a rewarding career and fantastic training. Check out our careers page at www.macintyrecharity.org/careers, or call our central Recruitment Team on 01980 357016
