Working with the National Trust

11 March 2020
News

MacIntyre's Inspired for Training group has been working with the National Trust, Europe's largest conservation charity, to help staff and volunteers improve how people with a disability experience the National Trust.

‘MacIntyre Inspired for Training’ (I4T) is a group of people with learning disabilities in Derbyshire, who train people in the use of Great Interactions™ and how to work with people with learning disabilities from their perspective.

Over the past year, the group have trained over 40 members of staff and volunteers from the National Trust through I4T's very own Great Interactions workshops, which have been a great success.

Speaking about the impact the training has had a member of the team from the National Trust said:

'The training had a massive impact on me and it was a total pleasure working with the group'.
