We have a lot of Christmas sparkle in the MacIntyre Wrexham office, brought mainly by Marc who loves lights and making things feel festive.
Last year we had thought about how we could connect with people locally and bring a little Christmas joy, and we held a grotto for local nursery children.
It went so well that we decided to do it all again this year!
Marc has come in and decorated the office. We have a sensory area that the children loved to play in and a space for a very special visitor from the North Pole! We have handmade decorations and snowflakes made by Ronnie. We have twinkling lights and we have borrowed some inflatables: a Santa on his sleigh and a gonk and these look fantastic!
We called the nurseries and they were keen to come again. There were four nurseries coming in at different times through the day. The children were so excited! They gazed at the decorations, had a play with the sensory equipment, and then it was time to meet the man himself: Santa, all the way from Lapland!
Afterwards Marc, our Christmas elf, handed them each a present.
We are so grateful for MacIntyre including the Children in their activities, from trick or treating at Halloween to the Christmas Grotto. The children get very excited.

We absolutely loved involving local children in the grotto, it’s the highlight of December. Marc is so helpful in the run up to this and giving out the presents, its lovely to be a part of it.

I like giving the presents to the children.

It was a magical day filled with laughter, excitement, and festive joy, and we’re so glad we could share it with our local community once again.
