Community drop-in launching in Worcestershire

23 September 2020
News

Are you looking to meet other people?
Know someone who is feeling lonely?
Have an idea to make Redditch a better place?

MacIntyre's Great Communities Project in Worcestershire is launching a brand new drop-in service, starting from this Thursday 24 September.

Held at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch, The Great Communities drop-in will be a chance for visitors to make new connections, provide an outlet for people who may feel lonely or isolated, and share ideas about how to make Redditch a better place for everyone.

People in Redditch have rallied together during the COVID-19 pandemic, so we want to help make sense of the new normal. If you have an idea, a unique skill or would like to chat, our MacIntyre Great Communities Team can help by offering time, resources and biscuits.

The drop-in service will be led by Jade Parker, MacIntyre's Great Communities Project Manager in Worcestershire and will include plenty of safety precautions to ensure social distancing is in place.

The drop-in will be available three days a week from 10am - 1pm.
