Hi, my name is William. I'm a student with MacIntyre No Limits™ in Buckinghamshire.

Work and volunteering

These are the places I have worked and volunteered:

Hughenden Manor Food Hub
Wrights Meadow Centre
The Car Wash
The Church Clothing Bank
And I work at Hills Café. I still work at Hills Café. It makes me feel proud. I’m told I’m always smiling!

I told Becky, our Job Coach, that I wanted

A paid job like my sister and brother.

I’m leaving MacIntyre in July, and I’ve been thinking about what’s next. When they asked me,

What’s your next plans, William?

I said:

I now have a job at Hills Café, volunteering two days a week with my PA. I will be working in the holidays on my own. I asked all by myself.

I also volunteer at Dove Café all day on Mondays with my PA too.

I enjoy my volunteer work, and my ambition is to gain paid employment as well. Just like everyone else.
